We run the business at 1718 E 12th St. Oakland, CA, business name Da Da Sewing. There is a homeless camp across the street and down the street and they are CONSTANTLY dumping their trash on our sidewalk!! This is causing issues with our clients, our business and is accruing waste fees with our garbage company, waste management. They are charging us for "overfilling" our trash can even though our trash can is LOCKED! This is due to the homeless camps around us. PLEASE find someone to do something about this, this is impacting our survival, our business!

This issue still exists! My aunt’s business is the clothing manufacturing company listed above. It’s unsafe for her workers to go to work, because of the mentally unstable transients. Additionally, she, an Oakland business, loss clients because of the homeless encampments and trash along the street. With $5K a month in rent, you would think the City of Oakland would want to support its businesses. Clean it up Oakland!
