Update from Transportation: Because the proposed crosswalk at 26th Avenue North would be located at an intersection, a more comprehensive discussion as to opportunities for protected medians will be held, especially with the adjacent neighborhood associations. We have deferred that particular crosswalk until we can look at it as part of one of the Complete Streets neighborhood greenways. It’s listed as a project with the first phase of the Complete Streets Implementation Plan. We’re expecting to take the Plan to City Council in late Spring, likely May, for their consideration. Once the Plan is adopted we’ll move forward with implementation of the Phase 1 projects, including this one.
