It is extremely difficult for cyclists to negotiate the intersection of N. Beacon, Soldier's Field Road, and Nonantum, in particular for cyclists traveling from N. Beacon or Parsons Street, traveling westbound. There are no paths, and cyclists are forced to merge with cars that are usually both speeding, and attempting to cross multiple lanes. At the least, a speed limit should be imposed, or a lane painted to aid cyclists establish their right of way. As it is, when traveling in a vehicle lane, I am regularly assaulted and menaced by drivers.
