I recommend you know your property lines the owner intends to extend the 10ft fence down to Evergreen. I believe their driveway to Evergreen crosses your property lines. The owner also removed a split rail fence on Avondale to install this fence. You can research her permit which clearly shows she intends on extending to Evergreen. It is time the county issued a stop work order immediately to address this new issues as well as existing complaints.

Wow!!! Thank you so much! This is so helpful. We had a long day today with the police, our realtors and the lady. I even talked on the phone with her daughter, and she acted oblivious.
We filed a police report and the cops said they knew she probably did it, we needed to get our video and pictures together for proof. Ridiculous!

Yes it is. The home owner has several complaints and is being taken to court for separate zoning issues as well as a civil case related to an illegal second floor apartment. The fence is poorly constructed and an incredible eye sore. There is also an active complaint with regards to the fence encroaching at least 3 feet outside her property along Avondale.

Of course she did it. Be very careful as she has falsely accused neighbors of throwing rocks at her and pushing her to the ground. She only hires day laborers and they only work on the weekend when the county is off. This has been a very frustrating situation for the community. It is time the county takes more decisive action.

I would love to say yes but it was not. Start documenting everything. Make sure you have your property plat and see if your real estate agent can get the surveyor to mark you property lines asap especially on her driveway that exits to Evergreen. I believe the county mapping site overhead photo of land and property lines should not be relied on. I believe the property line overlay is showing the lines too far to the Southeast; all of the lines should be shifted a bit to the Northwest and would not show and lines in driveways. This is based on living on the street and three actual surveys performed, such that I know the lines showing on my side of the street are incorrect, too far SE.

Thanks everyone- I called Ralph this morning and told him what happened with our fence and he told me all about the stop work orders and the many issues going on with her. Hopefully this will all be settled in a civil case soon.
Sadly, we will probably have to spend the money to get a true Survey of the land so she doesn’t rip it out again. Great start in the new neighborhood :(
