Description
There are increasing number of new homes on Girdled Road. More residents will be using the road to the new bikepath down to Girdled and Crile Rd. intersection. The speed limit should be lower to 25 MPH. I almost struck by speeding cars three times when I retrieve mails from mailbox. If I get hit, I'll sue the driver and the county. If I'm dead, my family will sue anyway.

I LIVE on Girdled Road and there are MANY close call accidents, with bicycle riders and pedestrians. It is dangerous to retrieve your mail from your mail box. I have letterally been touched by a speeding motorcyclist who was fooling around at a speed in excessof speed limit.
New driveways have been added to the street which are hidden by the two hills on the stretch between Ravenna Rd. and 44. The cars come over the hill and someone pulling out or backing out is in danger of causing an accident. It is not the "same old road" that it was years ago the speed limit certainly needs to change. I spoke with Jack Nettis of Concord Twp. and he informed me this is a County issue. PLEASE lower the speed limit on Girdled on the tretch mentioned above. My driveway is new and is disadvantaged in viewing a safe exit. Leaders of the County and Community, consider yourelves put on notice and aware of the danger! Seriously on those hills motorcycles jump off the ground and do wheelies, cars try to "launch off" and you can hear their exhaust systems scrape the ground, even see sparks at night. Time to get current with the times - time for a much lower seed limit!
