The surrounding roads at Warwick Way such as Birmingham Way prior to Waverly Woods Shopping Ctr and Brighton Court are in very bad shape. On both sides are crumbling and coming apart. Badly damaged asphalt. Please inspect to be added to a list to be resurfaced.

Warwick has issues starting at the intersection of Marriottsville and Warwick and along the entire road to its intersection with Birmingham/Starchaser. The area at Brighton Run Ct. is terrible on both sides of the road. Areas exceeding 6 feet in length and as wide as the traffic lane are sinking and totally cracked up. They get worse every time it rains.
Please fix the entry road to our community so it looks presentable.
Thanks for your attention to this request.

No one ever does anything in this area of Waverly Woods. I have requested several times etc. The area sidewalks and roads are awful. Also a more serious is are the roads and intersections in the area due to the increase in homes and residents etc. It is awful. What is it going to take? A serious fatal accident which could have been avoided?
The intersection in front of Waverly Woods is awful and needs to be reviewed due to safety concerns. When trying to turn left traveling in the direction toward 70E is very dangerous. First, there are two opposite lanes attempting to make left turns on green, then you have two way traffic continuing as well and in addition to that you have the opposite lane also turning right into Waverly Woods. There needs to be a change in turn signals etc to make it more safe especially at night.
Just like during day hours, the red light flashes instead of being a steady red to accommodate the lighter traffic flow. In the evening, possibly a permanent left turn signal for possibly both lanes due to the heavy traffic and cars that are speeding.
Tonight, I went to the shopping center and while driving back to Waverly, I had to make a left turn into Waverly on a green light. The car across from me was in the turn lane to turn left. Instead of turning left, the car proceeded to wait till the lane going straight was clear and proceeded to go straight from the turn lane just about head on into me. I know a signal could not prevent such poor judgment but possibly it could help.
Another issue with this intersection as well as further down till 40 is that it has to be widened in some fashion. The traffic lights that were suppose to be somekind of a solution are awful. It only makes the line longer and is very frustrating to get out of the neighborhood. The intersection at the traffic light by Marriottsville and Route 40 needs to be changed and widened to accommodate a right turn lane to reduce the back up. In the mornings, it can take up to 20 minutes or more to get up to that traffic light from Waverly. The drivers do not move over when the lane does split into 2 but it is only a couple of feet from the light so it is not that much help. It is a shame that the metal fence was just built around that turn to go to the left towards 70W instead of surveying it and figuring out how to improve that area and traffic flow.
Sorry I wrote so much but this has as I am sure you know going on for a very long time.
The minor repairs even though they are aesthetic to Waverly Woods are important to keep up the price of the properties and community. Please do not dismiss repairs if they are only aesthetic. Erosion starts and is easier and cheaper to repair before it gets so bad that there is water buildup, pot halls, etc.
