I would like the City of Virginia Beach to consider re-timing the light at the intersection of Nimmo and General Booth Blvd., Specifically the light for the turn lanes on Nimmo onto General Booth. The signal needs to be longer. It is on green for about 3 cars to get to turn and people end up running that light due to the short time span the light stays green. If the lead person is on their phone and not paying attention then only 1 or 2 cars make the light. Considering the amount of traffic and the new construction on General Booth Blvd. I think re-timing that light is long overdue and necessary in order to avoid running the light and causing an accident.
