Spoke to the business owner. He has received the cease and desist order. No oil or grease washed into the street. (See attached photo I took 4/4.) only dirt and mud. Going forward he will not wash dirt, mud or any contaminate into the street. Keep in mind that spring is here and water is used to wash everything, cars, trucks, patio furniture and water plants and lawns. Water will being flowing from properties all spring and summer.

J.K.A automotive is washing vehicles again on Sunday 04/14/19 afternoon, this time at 216 Ferry st. This is a places of business, expected to follow proper environmental rules and regulations. if you pull up GOOGLE MAPs, you can clearly see the stains on Phillips st. and Holyoke st coming from 17,13 Holyoke st. as well as 216 Ferry st. This is a on going thing for them for the past five years or more. This needs to be address this is being track in our drive ways and houses. there is a elementary school 2 block from here, and kids walk by on a daily bases. Further investigation requested.

I went by today and of course no washing was being done. If you see the owner or any of his employees washing trucks or anything else into the street please call the office at 781-397-7049 so we may witness the violation in person. If it going on during the weekend or after business hours you could take a photo of them in the act and send it to me or post it with a new SCF request. I can not issue a fine based on a stain in the street. It’s not that I don’t believe you but I need more than that.

Washing whatever waste water that was in his skid loader when it spilled out all over the place. I believe it was sewage water! Not happy with how this is being handled. EPA law says will not discharge anything other than rainwater the storm drains are not filtered. These violations can not be overlooked
