This is a safety issue. Why wouldn't this request be sent to the DPW, instead of the Police department? The lines need repainting!

This request has been open since April of this year. Are there any plans to repaint these lines near the 4-wsy stop signs, so drivers will actually stop @ these stop signs. Are there any plans to take care of this?

Is anything going to be done about 4-way stop? Are there any plans for repainting the cross walks? This issue has been open since April 4th of this year, without any answers!

Just an FYI, I know they won’t do the thermal painting in the winter. I’ll follow up with DPW and see if this is on the list for painting.

Dear Mr. Tuxbury, this issue has now been open for 481 days! The answer you gave me was that thermal painting could not be done in the winter. We have already through one winter, and now two summers! Will anything be done about the safety of our Ward 6 community? This situation has been open way too long, without any results! What is going to be done about this???

In the grand scheme of things, line painting is definitely below some of the other priorities facing the residents of Malden, Covid19 and the global economic crisis facing every community in the United States. I was informed the roadway painting has been canceled for the time being as city budgets were adjusted in anticipation of funding shortfalls. This location will be revisited when resources become available. Thank you for your understanding.
