Description

The beach area sand needs to be cleaned. The sand stains my beach towel and my swim suit. it is very gritty to and causes a rash. the sand needs to be washed and treated.

This is the second comment I have seen about sand at the beach. The BEACH is sand. Are you asking the city to put asphalt on the beach and then what would you call it. If you don't want sand go to a swimming pool. Also I hope you want your taxes raised to do that. To clean every piece of sand would cost millions of dollars.

Safety of the public is priceless. I pay taxes and this needs to be done. These beaches need to be safe.

All I have to say about this is wow people are special.... Sand is nothing but crushed rock and other mineral particles to include DIRT!!!

Rhonda, It cost money to clean the beach. It cost money to pick up litter. It costs money to run a city. We can only do so much in a day. We have been the victim of budget cuts. We only have three workers now when we had 74 just a few years ago. We are overworked and under paid. we need a helping hand. Not a hand out, Just a hand.
