Description
The traffic pattern at the intersection of Mass. Ave and Somerville Ave. changed a few weeks ago but there isn't signage to tell people that it's changed. There is a temporary spray painted arrow in the middle lane pointing straight but people don't see it. They are still taking a left turn from the middle lane. The city needs to permanantly paint a big straight white arrow with the words ONLY in this lane. Same as they did at the intersection of Walden St. and Mass. Ave. Maybe then people will stop turning. I witnessed a fender bender this am on the way to work. This happens almost daily!

This morning I was driving and needed to take a left from Mass Ave to Somerville Ave. Following the markings, I moved to the leftmost lane and made my turn. I then tried to go into the Straight lane to go down Somerville Ave (not White St) and was nearly hit by a van that made a left turn in my blind spot from the middle lane of Mass Ave.
Please fix this immediately. This is ridiculous, asking motorists to watch their blind spots while in the middle of executing a confusing turning movement is insane and bound to lead to a crash.
While we're at it, let's also put up some flexposts or other more permanent barrier along the bike lane. The van that almost hit me veered away into the bike lane, hooray, we avoided two cars colliding, but instead we've now killed a cyclist? That's even worse!
