Thank you for submitting your request using My Hoover Connect.. We will forward this information to our current garbage collection vendor - Santek Waste Services. The city is divided into three leaf zones with four collection dates assigned to each one. Santek will stay in each zone for two weeks except the last scheduled pick up date which will be for one week. If you are unsure of your zone, please call (205) 444-7543.
Bagged leaves can be set at the curb on your normal trash collection day. If you have more than 10 bags or if the regular garbage crew missed them, please submit a request for Bulk Collection. If you encounter any problems with leaf collection, please contact Santek Waste Services at (205) 631-1313 or WSAL@santekenviro.com.

However, we have well over 1000 request hanging open that we need an update on. Please notify us if your request has not been satisfied so that we can send a complaint to Santek and resolve it. We are working on glitches in this system and hope to improve the amount of time it takes to open and close a request, especially with issues involving garbage and limbs and debris.
