The city needs a shortcut road that goes directly to jersey ave, Coles or Monmouth. As soon as all the land is used by the new constructions the Heights will become locked in the constant traffic due to stop lights on the New York ave and the new buildings.

This can only get worse because there is a proposal for a new building at 7 New York Ave with 340 units and 200+ parking. It would be built by the light rail crossing on the current trucking company property.

Is this the right address ? 405 is on the north end of the Heights and it runs parallel with Webster Ave. The photo looks like it is 3 New York Ave. entering Ravine Ave. to the New York Ave. extension.

They could have coordinated the stoplights better. Also quite often the light rail stoplight stays red and there is no train crossing. Could JC and Hoboken do it together?

Require all trucks to come at night for deliveries to Supremo . Keep all 18 wheel trucks off New York Ave entirely.

Today 5/7 at 8.10am the light rail stop light turned red for 5 minutes and there was no train. Better coordination of this stop light can make a big difference here. It takes 10+ minutes to get from Ravine Ave to the intersection with Harrison St in the morning. Think how much time is wasted.
