Just a quick update from our Neighborhood Services Department:
The issue address has been put into our database and an inspection slip issued. The process is as follows:
- The first complaint of the year we notify the owner and give them time to complete the mowing.
- If they do not mow it by the deadline date then we mow it and bill the owner.
- If it gets over six inches again and we receive a complaint then they would receive a three day notice to mow.

The deadline date for this property is 06/21/13.
The inspector will then recheck, and if it is not mowed by then, we will send out our contractor.
As explained in the original response – the first complaint we have to give them time (which is usually 10 days). The complaint was received on 06/11/13.
If it gets to over six inches again, and we get another complaint – then they will receive 3 days notice before it is mowed by the City Contractor.
