Thank you for contacting the Bureau of Utilities with your concern. Our records indicate that Water Line Maintenance crews were in your neighborhood performing flushing operations on 4/5/19 to address dirty water complaints. The sediment in your filter is likely leftover from that time period. If you replace/clean the filter and are still experiencing problems, please let us know. Our Emergency Dispatch call center can be reached at 410-222-8400.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I will replace the filter today and send you a picture of the filter 7 days from now. Attached is a picture of the new filter for comparison at that time.
Attached is a picture taken yesterday afternoon of the filter after 7 days. Compare this to the new filter installed 1 week ago and I'd say the problem still exists. There is too much sediment in the line. I compared notes with my neighbor, a plumber, and he concurs. He has a similar water filtration system and is getting similar results.
