Description

Signage on Mercer St should be changed to a flashing stop sign(s), as motorists regularly claim they don't see it and they are causing accidents. Mercer St already has speed bumps, but motorists accelerate after it and run the stop sign at Varick. This is the 2nd accident in 2 weeks! Additionally, there is a need for a 2-way stop at this intersection to include Varick St. As cars also race to catch the traffic light on Montgomery St.
