The Health Department does not pick up dead animals. Call DPW if on road or side walk. Parks if on park land, or animal control for private property. Otherwise your request may be lost in the shuffle.
Isn't SCF supposed to make it easier to report issues by routing them to the proper authority? I have no idea how to get in touch with DPW (for example). Any thoughts?
Since the animal is located in the Park, Parks Department would pick it up. We, at Public Works take care of streets, tree belt, curb areas and sidewalks. We are easy to reach at 203-946-7700 and are here from 7 - 4 pm. We also monitor See Click Fix and put phone calls in to the system. We'll forward your request to Parks. Thanks
The dead squirrel is still in place by the fire hydrant in front of 562 Chapel Street. I don't really care which branch of the City is supposed to deal with it as long as someone gets the job done.
The issue has been resolved. If you need to report a new issue please do so in See Click Fix or call the Department of Parks, Recreation and Trees at (203) 946 - 8004. Thank you.
