Unfortunately, I don't know who the owner is.

Your best bet is to have it towed. Police can not give you the owner's information, but I believe towing it will prevent it from happening again.

I can't believe it, but in New Haven, someone can park in your driveway and the police can't help you get them to move. What happens when you confront a person who would do this? The kind of people that would have no respect for other people's space are the same type of people that would be mean when you ask them not to park in that space. I shouldn't have to confront this person. I'm not afraid of violence, I just gave it up after leaving Vietnam.

You could always remove the plates and put a "For Sale, As Is" sign on it.
That or sell what you can for scrap. It's now abandoned property, isn't it? So you should be able to do with it as you please, especially if the "authorities" have decided there's nothing they have the will to do.

Well the truck was towed out of the driveway. $150.00 to get that thing out of the driveway.

I know that if I parked in someone's driveway and just left my truck there I would have hell to pay.

@XYZ, yes. If the car is on private property, the owner can call it in, have it towed and charged to the owner when they go to pick it up from the tow yard. @Artman, confronting a person is not a good idea, being that other people can be unpredictable. I agree with you. Please be safe, everyone.

This issue has been resolved given the vehicle was towed.
