The street surface is worn away in huge spots along this street. Its always been bad but the snows this winter really made it worse. It needs to be resurfaced but the neighborhood doesn't seem to get any attention from the city.
I agree, as a driver in the general neighborhood almost every day, the streets generally need resurfacing and don't get much attention at all. Scoville is especially bad.
Help resolve this with a comment, image or video...I guess no one from the city or county checks this site, because I've never gotten a response and the street surface is as bad as ever. I'll try finding another way to report it.
Sadly, it is two years later and this has yet to be fixed. Back when I first posted this someone from VDOT contacted me and told me that he actually lived on one of these streets and it was not on the priority list for getting fixed. Any thoughts on how to move this up the list?
I've actually gotten action from VDOT twice by reporting an issue first to Mason District BOS. That office was able to forward my email to a real person at VDOT resulting in a work order and the name of someone I could follow up with. The initial response from the BOS & VDOT was swift; follow-up action by VDOT was not but it did happen. Try emailing your complaint to Mason@FairfaxCounty.gov. You can't assume something posted here will be seen by anyone who can do anything about it. Good luck.

Someone did call me back after I sent this to them in 2012, but he said the street (which he actually lived on) was not on the list of ones to be repaired. it is still in the same, if not worse condition, 3.5 years later.
