Description

Sometime overnight, this RV was parked and detached along Santa Clara Avenue across from 64 Santa Clara. I called OPD this morning, and since it is legal for people to sleep in their cars, they can't do anything about this until after 3 days (yes, this is considered a vehicle despite its lack of engine). Therefore, if you still see it Monday morning, call 510-777-3333, 1 for English, 0 to speak to dispatcher and call it in. You'll also notice the car behind it has a window blown out. This is located across the street from the homeless encampment under the MacArthur overpass. Email Lynette McElhaney (LMcElhaney@oaklandnet.com) or Dan Kalb (dkalb@oaklandca.gov) as well.
