Description
The issue for me is one or more dogs barking loudly in the evening, night, and early morning hours for at least the last 3 months from the houses on the north side of Shoreline Covenant Church. People are coming onto the Church property during the hours most people sleep and are provoking the dogs in some way. One resident told me they are getting into the alleys to steal things. Last night at around 2 AM I walked by the area between the church and the houses to the north of the church and saw a homeless person lying on the church staircase deck. He asked me for a cigarette. This was after our whole family was again awakened by the dog or dogs. My assumption is that this person did something to provoke the dogs barking. Maybe to rummage through the garbage dumpster near the houses or maybe entering the homeowners property. This barking has been a regular event the past few months. 3 or 4 times a week. You can imagine how disruptive this can be. Sometimes around 9 when our kids are trying to fall asleep, sometimes around 2 we're awakened, other times around 6 we're awakened. Our kids are late to work, we're late to work, and we're cranky during the day! Can anything be done?
