I see New Haven has hired a professional tree cutting company to take care of this problem maybe Hamden should do the same

It seems this issue is fossilizing. It was originally reported more than 2 years ago; however, our town's officials do not appear to be taking any action other than posting a canned message that it was "Acknowledged" by our tree warden. If anything is being done, they have neglected to post comments indicating what plan has been incorporated. One of the best ways to ensure more attention is given to this issue is to make direct contact with the personnel who can take action on this matter. Also, our Tree Commission has meetings held on the 3rd Tuesday of ever month at 6:30pm in the 2nd floor main conference room at our government center located at 2750 Dixwell Avenue. The next meeting will be at held at 6:30pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
