Its public property. The city installed this sidewalk in 2009 when they built the new YMCA and redid all of 37th Avenue South. The city has a special purchased machine to clean those type of sidewalks every year. They do not do it as needed. The city only does something when they feel like it.

MTK - and 192nd - also I have never seen the sidewalks cleaned by the city w/ their 'special machine' , but if they have one they need to use it now before someone slips, falls, and hurts themselves

The city needs to do South 192 Street also. They missed that one. The city needs an annual schedule to clean all these sidewalks.

MTK - I have learned thru experience that 'CLOSED' on SeeclickFix does not mean the issue is solved or even that the City has stopped working on it - only that SeeClickFix will stop reporting on it - - - to find out it's real status contact the City and ask the status of City Service Request #4863.

John, That is interesting. I reported 3 times on same problem and they were closed over the last 5 months. The problem still exists 5 months later.

I would suggest that you contact the City Department that it was referred to and ask them the status of the particular issue - fixed? still being addressed? they don't agree the City can force a fix?

Being 'Closed' on SeeClickFix apparently means nothing about the progress on the issue.
