When the road was repaved, the in-road detectors destroyed and removed from the road. Therefore, the signal cannot detect movements on the Weaver Dairy approach. The signal controller observes the damage and then provides an automatic call to those approaches. The controller assumes there is always traffic on the approach and the maximum amount, in order not to maroon vehicles on the approach.

The Town has reduced the maximum times on those approaches until the detectors can be replaced. The Town will need the contractor to place pavement markings on the approach before the loops can be reinstalled.

The Town has marked the Weaver Dairy approach for installation and waiting for the contractor to install replacement detectors.

All detection loops have been repaired and the signal operations are functioning as designed.
