"Yield to pedestrians" crosswalk sign is detached. Given that drivers already travel far faster than is safe here, and little to no enforcement is seen from BPD, the absolute minimum of traffic calming, even in a form as simple as a knockdown sign, is essential. More calming is absolutely needed for the safety of vulnerable road users here, but this sign must be replaced as soon as possible.
