Another example of HONNA trying to bully homeowners and residents. Looked up the code, of the transaction occurs on the resident and they have a business tax license then not sure there is a complaint...and who is allowed to submit using a non name but a collective. So tired of anonymous busy bodies, who hide behind this app.

Check the code again, home occupations can't have any impact on the neighborhood or operate outside of the premises. Taking up street parking, and storing scooters on the street violates both of those. Maybe let an actual city official handle it first.

You have already decided the outcome, again another HONNA board member, instead of focusing on 286-h that allows big builders for destroying our neighborhood and building .85% impervious building and tearing down perfectly good single story homes that now are adding to our sewer rates. If the rentals are rented and parked elsewhere that defeats your argument. They then become rented, just as if I rent a car and put it in front of my house. Why not take on the real problem, because so many on HONNA make profits from tearing down perfectly good Bungalows and allowing big builders to build 4300 square feet, or the two new garage apartments on 14th and 1st that never went through the DRC...

Surprised you would want the neighborhood used for commercial purposes honestly, protecting the integrity of the neighborhood is what limiting home occupations is all about. There is plenty that could be improved, apartment buildings becoming airbnb hotels is a big one in my mind. Don't think we are on opposing sides here, keeping old northeast a neighborhood first we seem to agree on. Not sure what your beef is with getting rid of a business that violates zoning, has zero approvals (business tax certificatess are not approvals for operating) and lessens the neighborhood feel of Old Northeast. For perspective, just imagine 10 of these businesses operating in Old Northeast, would you have a problem then? Scooters everywhere because Old Northeast is close to the parks and downtown and parking is free north of 9th.
