The lumber is obstructive, makes it hard to see incoming vehicles and makes turning in or off of the lot hazardous. The lumber company often has vehicles blocking the sidewalk, parking on other property, as well as impeding traffic by running a forklift in the way of main traffic. They shouldn't have the lumber so close to the street, and they should have parking available so traffic isn't impeded during their business hours. If a car is parked immediately by the lumber, it cannot be seen until the turn is made, resulting in the high probability for collision.
