the owner of the chinese take shop is also the owner of 634 congress ave building that has debris strewn all over rear paking lot adjacent to congres market. the corner of balwin and congres ave have no markings for a crosswalk. granted their are schoool crossing guards. should be a light and a crossing signal. why doesn't the city take action

Your concern about the intersection is automatically forwarded to Police, Traffic, City Engineering, Alderpersons, Livable Cities and 'watchers'. In the future, however, they may be better received if comments such as 'greasy spoon' are left out. I also suggest that you attend the Hill North Community Management Team Meetings which meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Hill North Substation (on Congress and Hallock?) and express your concerns for the record. This is a very good mechanism for getting things done in your neighborhood.
