These encampments need to be cleared
Human waste everywhere
No trash bins no pets potty’s just remove them from our neighborhood or don’t charge us taxes
It’s a one lane road trash in roadway
Street sweeper can’t clean streets
Ticket and toe the abandoned vehicles
But you want to ticket home owners and resident who pay taxes but not these people
It’s a Blythe to our neighborhood

It’s a shame how the city overlooks these encampments. Homeowners have to deal with trash, human waste and discarded needles. 42nd and 45th Street need to be on the regular cleanup list. Funny how encampments that try to pop up on Claremont and further into Rockridge get cleared out almost immediately. I’m sick of hearing from homeless advocates about the need for these people to have a place to stay. Maybe if they weren’t so nasty there wouldn’t be so many complaints. We need to figure out a way to sue the City!

Lots maybe 100s of needles on north side of 42 nd st under overpass. Sidewalk completely covered with tents on south side of st. Debris everywhere

The City of Oakland addressed this issue on 05/10/2019, service request #896453.

Give it time, it'll burn itself down. Then the city will address it. Only then will they do anything about it.

It’s not fixed

We just rode our bikes through today. It’s not addressed. The north sidewalk is now tentless but it is covered in feces, toilet paper, needles, and other debris. We rode with a child on the sidewalk and it was dangerously not clean.
