Much appreciated repair work thru much of M-43 in Mer. Twp. has been done on the west-bound lane; east-bound lane still has some sections needing work. The chip sealing after all the crack/ pothole filling is quite hazardous. Hope the left-over gravel will get swept up before too many 2-wheeled vehicles crash in the intersections and driveways. Much appreciated work but the sunken manhole covers are still a big hazard for everyone, motorists and bicyclists.

Chip sealing was mostly completed by mid-late August. Loose gravel still abounds making it scary for bicyclists. Still many awful parts throughout the Mer. Twp. segment especially in the major intersections which you'd think they'd just repave since most crashes occur in intersections; why risk leaving an awful road surface til it's reconstructed in 2023 (4 yrs?!) on top of the dangers that intersections already pose for drivers of all vehicles?

The intersections of Marsh and Okemos Rd. on M-43 were just chip sealed; no meaningful repairs done. Very rough to drive a motor vehicle through; downright dangerous to ride a bike through.
