For years residents on our st.have requested speed bumps.Now we are told they can't afford it. (no reason why
others got them earlier)
Many times due to numerous request from different residents on our short st
we have had the "speed monitor". When
it is seen drivers do slow down-but then
it's gone.
We now have a growing population of
young children and it is frighting. I think
many who live elsewhere are excited to get to the Pine Valley Country Club or must think they are still on College Rd??
We have even offered the city that we would take a collection to buy the speed
bumps,but they say no.
Please help us. It is very frustrating and
dangerous.
Our Street is only 2 blocks from College
Rd.(by the fire station) to the Pine Valley CC. Imagine a car
up to 55 miles an hour-it's like a race.We
need action before someone is killed,and
regrets won't mean a thing.
Please help us.
