No violation, MNDOT parked in marked work area

Nowhere is this a "marked work area". For that to happen legally there would need to be an obstruction permit from the city, correct? There aren't any showing up here

oh my! 11 hours after the infraction was reported, I wonder where the vehicle has gone?!? 10 hours ago 311 falsely reported "No violation, MNDOT parked in marked work area"[1]. I still would like an explanation for how a clearly illegally parked-in-the-bike-lane vehicle amounts to "no violation" when state statute prohibits *any* vehicle from ever parking in the bike lane by definition that it is a bike lane, i.e. a lane that only bikes can move through.
Via twitter MnDOT has even admitted this was an illegal parking job, diplomatically apologizing "for the situation this morning, it did not follow MnDOT's protocol for lane (including bike lane) closures. We have made sure our crew, engineers and contractors were addressed on the issue."[2]
311 has one job. Way to bottle it trying to cover for another municipal agency's insipid carelessness. It shows the City of Minneapolis's true indifference concerning the safety of anyone who isn't in a motor vehicle. "Vision Zero" be dammed, there are no consequences, park in whatever bike lane you want.
five stars, would endanger my life again for the convenience of a few state employee's entitled laziness.
