Description

The stormwater drain on the East side of 46th St North, between 35th and 36th Avenues (on the Western edge of the property at 4598 36th Ave North), is clogged. During the storm on April 19, water was unable to go into this drain. Not only was the water level up over the top of the drain and into they yard, it was flooding a third of 46th St and flowing North, presumably to a drain on the next block. I tried to clear the opening with a shovel, but I could not find any obvious obstructions, which indicates that the issue is somewhere below the street level.
