Residences are on that side of Baltimore Pk which also could account for the 25 mph speed. As someone who makes a right onto Baltimore Pk from Ridley Creek Rd., I know not many drivers follow the posted 25 mph. Most travel 40-45 mph going down that hill. Difficult getting out sometimes, but it's better than sitting at another stoplight.

I don't see an issue with the 25mph down that hill. It is a residential area and makes it safer for folks turning in/out of Ridley Creek Rd. It beats having another light there as well. If anything, the speed limit should be enforced more there as people drive very recklessly around that turn (tailgating/passing cars driving the speed limit via the turning lane). I am okay giving up a light for a lower posted speed limit. We have too many lights/stops igns already, and they never seem to ease they traffic flow.
I do agree that driving into Media from Granite Run should be 45mph, then come down to 35/25mph at Ridley Creek road, instead of the 35mph from Riddle Ale House on. Too slow, especially as folks coming up the hill have 45mph.

I live right there. I have been dealing with the people going at LEAST 35MPH past Ridley Creek and never had a major problem. At this point if you get in an accident there, its your fault. You should know people dont go 25mph downhill on a 4 lane highway. I agree it should be 35 or 45mph. probably 35 because then people will actually go around that speed as opposed to 45-55mph.
