YES! Me too ...EXTREAMLY DANGEROUS!.....Especially since people use that middle lane to turn at Favinger , or the other roads that lead to a development , Wedgewood , up to the school as well.
This is extremely dangerous when there are also numerous bus stops along this stretch of road. The vehicles (trucks, semi's, cars, SUV, dump trucks, trash trucks, etc) then also run the red lights of the buses. This can result in 5 pts on your license, the loss of your license and a very hefty fine, yes-all three, not to mention the potential loss of life of a precious child!!!
i agree....i live in that area on rt.100 and i see cars speeding and passing in the center lane...lived here for 4+ years and im so surprised i have not seen that many accidents in this area.
My family has lived at the corner of Hoffecker and 100 for over 50 years and has seen countless accidents caused by people passing in the center lane. Very dangerous!!!
It's people who forget to realize that the speed limit sign is 45, and are too impatient to be behind someone following the law. So they'll tailgate you until they get so frustrated they can't force to go faster by being obnoxious jerks, that they'll fly past you illegally in the center turning lane. :).
Absolutely correct. Until there is an attempt at enforcing the speed limit this will continue. The local townships are probably not staffed/funded sufficiently to enforce this area.
