This is a no-parking zone. The road is very narrow. Cars zoom around the blind curve frequently. There are a half-dozen houses in a densely packed row, and almost all have small children. Sometimes they play in the road. Frequently, visitors to the last house in this row of houses park in the prohibited area, creating significant "blind spots" and forcing traffic to alternate through one lane. This practice is an injury, or worse, waiting to happen. I have reported this to the Torrington PD in the past, and the illegal parking seemed to happen less frequently, but it's been on the rise again recently.
