Description

Cars are driving too quickly, and not paying attention during school drop off and pick up at the Lawton School cut through on Delaware Ave between 7th and Mershon. Children are in danger crossing at that cross walk. There should be some type of physical upgrade to the crosswalk with either signage, or preferably speed bumps.

Cars also speed down 7th past the elementary school. I vote for speed bumps on 7th near the crosswalks.

Please address this crosswalk and determine way to make it safer at school drop off/pick up times for the school. It needs better signage to identify that it is indeed a crosswalk and to watch for children/walkers. Please monitor this crosswalk at school pick up and drop off times.
