Actually there is no sidewalk where this picture was taken.

It is a corner location, with clutter spilling out onto the sidewalk on one street and into both streets.

What's on/in the street?

For one, the white sedan with expired tags that hasn't moved since October 2017. It's being used as a storage unit.

The separate white sedan issue hasn't been updated since September 2018. Not sure if this is still the "official" way to interact with city authorities on these matters.

For many who have lived here awhile, this property looks familiar and not so offensive. The neighborhood has changed. If we can look at the property as a link to our neighborhood's history, maybe we can be less critical of how this family lives.

EDiddy, have you contacted John Maximuk at Decatur Public Works directly? I like this tool, in general, as a means to notify the City about issues around town, but you've reported 3 code violations against this same household (7/18/18, 8/15/18, 4/7/19), and, at this stage, it seems like you're just using this tool as a means to harass this family.

I have been monitoring this location. I met with the owner again yesterday. A follow-up cert5ified letter is mailed today.

We continue monitor this location. I spoke with the owner this morning regarding clean up around the property. The bags of garbage will be removed on service date and the tires will be removed as well.
