My home also backs up to this vacant lot. The "tree" (which is really a huge overgrown weed) is encroaching on the property and getting very close to our roof. We've also had two separate incidents with possums that come into our yard from that lot. Mosquitoes are unbearable despite bugzapper, foggers, and all attempts to prevent standing water on my property due to the existence of this unmanaged lot. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help clean up this space, as I know at least three others who think this is an issue and would be willing to pitch in to resolve it.

A work crew came this past Saturday and started to clear the lot, but they barely made a dent. We need this mess 100% cleaned up ASAP!!

Over another week and no more activity. Meanwhile, the termites coming from the big dead tree stump and other debris are continuing to eat my house!! An exterminator will cost ~$1,000 and give no guaranty as long as this termite next remains in this horrible neglected lot!!
