This request will be included in the next Traffic Advisory Committee (TAC) agenda. TAC meets every 4th Wednesday of the month and a response will follow thereafter. Thank you.
The Traffic Advisory Committee (TAC) discussed and reviewed your traffic request to install crosswalks across San Mateo Avenue at Lowrie Avenue during its May 22, 2019 meeting. The TAC did not approve installation of the crosswalks. Installation of marked crosswalks could give pedestrians a false sense of security. Also, the pedestrian volumes would not justify the installation of crosswalks at this location.
