Have there been any studies done to analyze the impact of installing flex lanes on 12600 S from 1300 W to Mountain View Corridor, like what was done on 5400 S. in Taylorsville? This road receives ridiculously high amounts of single-direction traffic; in the evenings, traffic always backs up from Redwood Road all the way down to the Jordan River.

If there's any road in Utah that is an obvious candidate for a second flex lane road, it would definitely be this one. UDOT needs to do something ASAP to fix this traffic crisis, and I believe this would be the easiest and best way to fix it.
