According to the Contracts and Design Manager for our department, plans are in place for a sidewalk to be constructed in this area. The project is in the earliest stages of its development, which means that field data is being collected and the survey process will begin this June. Staff hopes that design will be able to start in August. Once the survey and design are complete, the bid process will begin. It is quite possible, that once a bid is accepted, the construction process could take around six months.
