Description

Unsafe city of Berkeley truck driver. 5/1/19 1:03pm: As I was just crossing the Shattuck at the intersection with Dwight Way heading west, a white city Ford flatbed truck with directional arrows mounted to the roof if the cab and a trailer attached, practically ran into me and a small robot crossing the street as they were making a right turn. Instead of waiting until I was fully crossed and with the robot heading in the opposite direction in the crosswalk, the city driver forced their way into the crosswalk to make a right turn, almost hitting the robot with the trailer while making the turn. The City vehicle then proceeded driving South in Shattuck. This was aggressive and unsafe driving, the driver clearly needs more training from the city they are going to hurt someone out on the street if they continue driving this way.
