Description
They should not have programmed this light to allow both the offramp traffic and the St. Clair traffic to go north on Lost Nation at the same time. All everyone does is block the intersection so the other side cannot get in. The St. Clair traffic should have their own time with the light the way it used to be.
Why is it always so hard for Willoughby to figure out these intersections and red lights? I am not only referring to the Lost Nation area either.

ODOT response
Thank you for contacting the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) with your comments and concerns. I apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause. I have passed along your complaints to the project design and construction staff. The protected left movement and designated arrow from St. Clair was removed due to very low traffic counts and a desire to improve the traffic movement on both Lost Nation Road and the exiting ramp.
After this traffic signal system was originally installed, a few complaints were fielded concerning motorists not yielding when making a left hand turn. Additional signage (left hand turn yield on green) was erected and additional time was added to the all red phasing to allow the intersection to clear. ODOT will continue to monitor the area and make adjustments as necessary.
If you have any additional questions or comments, please feel to contact me again!
Safe and pleasant travels,
