Based on the photo it looks like a terrible patch on the sidewalk to say the least. Not smooth at all.

After checking with the City's Project Manager, I can report that the contractor has up to 8 weeks to complete the restoration work, and must allow time for the repair area to settle before the finish work is done. The sidewalk and curb will be restored appropriately instead of just asphalt to patch it. We will inspect the area and make sure that WSSC completes the full restoration at the appropriate time.
