No, this fence is really not in the condition that a Coral Gables fence should be in....The fence is leaning, bent and has no top guard rail or bottom....it looks like a fence that is placed temporarily for construction

I've been complaining for almost 4 years about this issue. Even wrote a letter to Mayor Slesnick, called and stopped by the code enforcement office.

Now the property is for sale... Why doesn't the City make the owner put an appropriate fence around this empty lot? This is really an eyesore for the residents here.

i see the for sale sign (which is now up on a white post inside the fencing). this lot has been for sale periodically over the years and was supposed to be developed into condo (ugh oh no). I suggest the city of coral gables buy it and turn it into green space!!! the fencing is atrocious, and nothing is being done despite our complaints AND this website. there's also somewhere on the city of coral gables website where you can complain and get a tracking number for the problem. Here is another picture from a different angle. you can really see the fencing drooping from the top where there is no "topper" for the chain link. How many times must I close this....There is a huge building being built on this lot....you guys are ridiculous...obviously, no one from the City ever visited this site or else this would still not be open

This issue has been resolved....Obviously no one from the City ever went out there to look at the deplorable conditions, but now a 19 story building is being built on the trash site.
