Have you tried calling the Parks Dept. or the city Forester about this tree ?This request has been open & unacknowledged since 5/7/19 to get this issue on their radar.

I have called and left voicemails in the past. I have yet to receive a call back. The first time this was posted was 2.5/3yrs ago. In the past 3 years many disease ridden trees surrounding this tree have been cut just not this one.

On one occasion tree cutters came to cut a tree that had already been cut down and had a lovely break because the job was already done but they were getting paid anyhow. I took the opportunity to ask them if they can cut this tree and was told that they need a ticket for it (which I understand is protocol).

The question is why was there a ticket for a non existent tree and no ticket for a tree that needs removal?

Can you get your alder involved?This is an election year, hoping you can some action. I know how frustrating it must be to get absolutely no response from the powers that be. I see it every day on this site. Things that should be basic common sense get totally distorted by bureaucracy.

I believe it is time for Alder Marks & Mayor Harp to get involved. People’s safety should not be at issue for FIFTEEN Months!!!

Several trees were tagged over a year ago because they are dead and posed a danger to the public. The signs had said that they would be removed within a month, but they are still standing and dropping their branches. We have brought this up at management team meetings, and were told they would be removed as planned. It is time!

Yes - this tree needs to be removed before it caused damage to persons or property

It is quite apparent that the powers that be do not care about the concerns of the citizenry. It is an election year. You know who to not vote for another term. We need people that are responsive to the common good.

Thank you to everyone who like and commented!! On Friday October 4th 2019 Aspludh tree experts came and started to removed some branches/limbs!!! Hope that they will come back to finish :)

There are approximately 5 additional dead ash trees on this block. Most of them are concentrated on Bellevue near Glen Rd. They were tagged for removal a very long time ago. They are now dropping branches regularly. All of these trees need to be removed.

We are down to the stump! Thank you to all who made this possible.
