Totally agree. The whole creek through Roser Park out to the Bay needs to be dredged. It has been filling with mud and debris for years from all the storm water being directed through a very narrow channel. We will hold the city responsible for any flooding damage due to their negligence.

This is crazy. The creek was drained for months and they came and pick up a little dirt and made a big mess all over the street and sidewalk. This is unacceptable. Bring on the big trucks and dredge this mess. ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

In the mean time please block city sewers from feeding into this creek. You are responsible for my property damage bases on the neglect of keeping this creek free of yrs of mud piling up. Please don’t wait months for this process to start. Today is a good day.

So lets ask this question engineers? What have you discovered. Dirt on the bottom of the creek that needs to be removed. Hmmmmmmmm. It takes an engineer to process this? Yrs of water flow has clogged the creek, the creek overflows because of the the layers of dirt limiting the flow.... So how difficult is it to start cleaning the bottom for better water flow ? Dump truck plus back hoe and man power = cleaning the bottom of the creek. Why is the city neglecting this and allowing property to be damages. Would like an update please.

The work on Booker Creek in Roser Park was completed years ago. There is no further dredging planned at this time. This report needs to be closed.

We are working on a Stormwater Master Plan update which includes assessing the area you have reported. While this is a multi-year implementation plan, the City will be working towards addressing more localized flooding. Please continue to report flooding as it occurs so this helps us to better understand the issues.”
