We agree that Concord Road has become a difficult route to drive. The potholes are not the only problem. The road itself has so many patches and repairs that cars try to avoid not only the holes but also the bumpy, uneven surfaces. We hope the town will repave the road itself, not just fill the potholes.

The Concord road from the Marlborough Country Club to the Hudson line is in terrible shape and is not good to drive on. Its becoming unsafe and it is taking its toll on the automobiles that have to drive on it every day. This road needs to be repaved and soon. It seems that a very poor job was done the last time it was repaved. This is a well traveled road and needs to be repaired and done right.

Unfortunately I have sent multiple emails to DPW and Mayor’s office with photo documentation on how bad Concord Rd has become with no relief. It is a stretch to actually call it a Rd, and maybe if DPW has no intention to address this please reclassify this as an unpaved Rd. I repent having moved to Marlborough and spending my money on taxes and property purchase when I can’t drive safely with my family.

There is no road. It is now just a bunch of potholes and mounds of bad fixes applied. Now I see even suvs going in wrong lane as if they are running an obstacle course. It is a matter of time before there is an accident and especially with runners using the same road in good weather. Every time they come and fill them more mounds are created.

Also surprising somehow that the road is great right next to the private golf course and rapidly deteriorates after that. So somehow golf course members are taken care of but not the tax paying citizens.

Time to replace the whole road as soon as possible if they care about the town citizens. I will be raising this with State DOT as well on if this meets the minimum criteria of a Road. I will encourage everyone to raise this issue with the upcoming mayoral debates as well.

The Concord Rd resurfacing project has begun and the roadway repairs will be from Beaman Ln to the Hudson Town Line.
