National Grid is saying their pole is anchored properly and there should not be any problem, they also added that Verizon and Comcast wires had extra slack in their cables and they could tighten them up.

I dont agree. They were out here before and said this pole was being replaced. Its leaning. The wire attached to the white house is tight and the other wires are slacked. I dont think they looked at the correct pole.

We had solar put on in Oct. City inspector was here, National Grid was called out too. Pole between 4 and 2 Carrollton st reported as leaning rowards 4 Carrollton house and wires/anchor attached to 2 Carrollton as tight. There are markings on the ground pointing to the pole. Cracks on the pole. This pole has slowly been increasing its lean since we bought our house in 2010. National grid came out about a year and a half ago to raise the wire across the street. They put a cap on it and tied it to our neighbors tree! That same wire, is starting to slack. So either the tree is shrinking (doubtful), the rope has lengthened (maybe), or the pole has increased its lean (most likely). I am just trying to get this resolved before somthing happens and this pole falls either due to wires being pulled, pole integrity being compromised by weather and wind and the tight achor/wire attached to 2 Carrollton finally gives way. There is always kids playing on this street and i would hate for someone to get hurt or killed by a falling pole with LIVE wires.
